Jasper Daybed
When designing furniture I have always tried to tie together the vernacular of classical form with modernity. The Greek Revival furnishings of Villa Kérylos have always inspired me. When designing this daybed, it was only after months of development that I began to see the Villa’s influence.
Features: Medium density mattress and bolsters with top and bottom blind tufting sitting upon a webbed upholstered frame.
Fabric mattress features: reversible
COM: 9 yards
Leather mattress features: non – reversible with fabric bottom. Quartered seams or more depending upon hide size.
COL: 115 - 170 sf depending upon the quality and yield of the hides.
Wood: 26 woods from light to dark and several specialty finishes
